OF MISSOURI WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WESTERN SECTIONS WHERE EQUAL CHANCES
OF ABOVE, BELOW AND NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE ANTICIPATED.
PRECIPITATION IS FORECAST TO BE ABOVE NORMAL OVER THE NORTHEASTERN HALF
OF THE STATE AND EQUAL CHANCES OF ABOVE, BELOW AND NEAR NORMAL RAINFALL
IS ANTICIPATED ACROSS THE REST OF MISSOURI.
NORMAL PRECIPITATION OVER MISSOURI DURING JUNE RANGES FROM 3.40-4.40
INCHES IN THE EASTERN HALF OF THE STATE TO BETWEEN 4.40-5.40 INCHES IN
THE WESTERN HALF OF MISSOURI.
DUE TO THE HIGHLY VARIABLE AND LOCALIZED NATURE OF SUMMER STORMS, LOCAL
VALUES MAY FREQUENTLY EXCEED THESE AVERAGE VALUES IN A SINGLE STORM
EVENT.
