We only bred the top 20 percent of heifers out of 250 so this is the best set of heifers we have ever consigned. The mothers of these heifers have an average weaning ratio in our herd of 105.75 and an average yearling ration of 103.81 and they all have maintained a 365 day calving interval. These heifers are bred to work on grass in a low input system.

We have also selected heavily for carcass quality. The steer mates to these heifers graded 100% choice, 26.25% prime and 88% CAB. The steers had an average of $135.25 carcass premium per head.

In this offering there are 4 heifers sired by Sydgen Corona and 2 SAF Connnection daughters that are out of Corona daughters, the rest are sired by 3 full flush brothers that are sired by BR New Design 323 and out of SAF Mademoiselle 6180 a top cow at Sydenstrickers. We will have several ¾ sisters packages that will have 7/8 related calves. There are 5 Tier II heifers.

The heifers are bred A.I. to Butch’s Max 3130 and Sydgen Corona 2016. Two of the very top carcass bulls in the breed. They also sire top females. I consider our Corona daughters the best females we have ever had in our herd. The natural service sires are both ET bulls we purchased from Sydenstickers that are good balanced EPD bulls.

These heifers are all tested negative for PI BVD. They are all tattooed and freeze branded.
