Exit 105 off Interstate 55 - 3 miles north on Highway 61
- Approximately 250 Bred Heifers available - 97% Black or BWF - Some Purebred Angus and Angus, Simmental, Charolais, Shorthorn and Ear influenced crosses, sorted into uniform lots of breed, color, size, and calving date. 20% of the Black color are Simmental influence.
- All heifers calfhood vaccinated.
- All heifers will be blood tested. Heifers will have health papers to go to any state.
- Heifers have met minimum standards for reproductive soundness, pelvic size, body condition and weight and are free of blemishes.
- Bred heifers have been bred to bulls meeting strict calving ease/birth weight requirements.
- Bred heifers are due to calve from January 26 to May 1. Almost all have been synchronized A.I. bred and will calve in a short time period. 70% are pregnancy checked - A.I. Bred.
- All Heifers are home-raised, have known birthdates and sires and have passed age requirements. 85% of the heifers are high percentage or purebred Angus.
- Angus A.I. Service Sires include: SAF Fame, Rito 6I6, Butch's Maximum 3130, New Design 878, Perry Power Design, Bar Ext Traveler 205, SAF Strategy 9015, Bon View Spectrum 1176 and Simmental bull: Nichols' Legacy G151.
