Viewing begins at 4:00 pm. A sale catalog will have background data on the groups.
Most are black or black white-face from 13 farms in central and eastern Missouri.
Program Requirements:
- Heifers have been inspected by MU extension specialists
and veterinarians, both before and after breeding
- Heifers have met minimum standards for reproductive
soundness, pelvic size, body condition and weight and are free
of blemishes.
- Heifers have been bred to bulls meeting strict calving
ease/birth weight EPD requirements.
- A strict immunization program has been followed including
official Brucellosis calfhood vaccination and a negative test
prior to the sale.
- Heifers will calve from late January to May 1. Many have
been synchronized and will calve in a short time period.
