North Central Missouri Show-Me Select Replacement Heifer Sale

Receipts: 173 bred heifers

Coordinated by University of Missouri Extension, University of
Missouri Commercial Agriculture Program, MU College of Veterinary
Medicine, Missouri Cattlemen's Association and Missouri Department
of Agriculture.

Heifers in the sale have met minimum standards for reproductive
soundness, pelvic size, body condition and weight. They have also
undergone a comprehensive health program, and are guaranteed bred
to easy calving bulls.  Many were artificially bred.  All heifers
are expected to calve from February 15 thru May 1, 2000, with
projected dates given for each lot of heifers. Offering consisted
of black and black white face heifers which were sorted into uniform
lots according to calving dates and body type similarity.

     1070.00-1100.00 per head

  -  800-1000 lbs 725.00-875.00 per head
