Russian Olive

Cankers (fungi) Twigs and branches die back. Older plants more severely affected. Prune out affected branches during dry weather. Consider the tree a temporary planting and remove when it becomes unsightly. (See the PDC Fact Sheet "Twig Blights and Cankers".)
