Pear (ornamental)
Includes Bradford and other cultivars of callery pear

Twig blight (nonparasitic) Blighting of leaves and branch tips, similar to fireblight. (Bradford pear is very resistant to fireblight.) Physical damage to bark on limbs below affected leaves. Injured areas often invaded by secondary, canker-causing fungi. May be due to injury from late-spring frost. No fungicidal control recommended. Prune affected branches.
