Gardening Field Day at Botanical Center Aug. 19


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Join the University of Missouri Extension for a fun and educational gardening field day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Aug. 19 at the Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic Ave., Springfield, Mo.

Field Day presentations will include tips on growing, digging and dividing hostas, a tour of the Springfield Botanical Gardens and butterfly house, tips, and research on growing blackberries and information on native moths and butterflies.

There is a cost of $35 per person for the workshop, and that includes lunch. Pre-registration is required to attend this Field Day.

University of Missouri Extension Master Gardeners that attend the field day will receive five hours of advanced training. Spouses, friends, and family of Master Gardeners are also welcome to attend.
