Social Media Marketing and Sales at
Tradeshows in Hollister Jan. 28

HOLLISTER, Mo. — Missouri State University's Small Business & Technology Development Center and University of Missouri Extension in Taney County will present two separate programs on Jan. 28 at the OTC Table Rock Campus, 10698 MO-165, Hollister.

SOCIAL MEDIA CLASS

"The State of Social Media Marketing" will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Jan. 28. The program has an enrollment cost of $30 per person. To register, visit: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-state-of-social-media-marketing-hollister-tickets-51460386401

"The State of Social Media Marketing" will give attendees clarity on which social media platforms are right for your business; content marketing strategies that help you build customer relationships; how to structure your content to drive new sales and referrals; and why social proof is critical to your social media marketing success and how to get it.

"This seminar is great for beginners and experienced social marketers because it addresses the current social media strategies that are succeeding for businesses today and not five years ago," said Sandra Smart-Winegar, business development specialist at Missouri State University SBTDC.

TRADESHOW SALES CLASS

"Make the Most Sales at Your Next Tradeshow" is also being offered by Missouri State University's Small Business & Technology Development Center and University of Missouri Extension in Taney County on Jan. 28.

"Make the Most Sales at Your Next Tradeshow" will address the ins and outs of how to create an attractive, sales-winning tradeshow strategy for your business. Topics covered will include creating a winning trade show booth that attracts customers; what types of marketing materials you will need to distribute; how to have a successful sales conversation at a tradeshow; why you need to have a follow-up system in place BEFORE the show starts and how to set it up; the use of social media and your current customer base to get more traffic to your booth; how to entice potential customers to give you their contact information; and turning leads into customers both during and after the show.

This program will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the OTC Table Rock Campus, 10698 MO-165, Hollister. The program cost is $30 per person. Registration can be done online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/make-the-most-sales-at-your-next-tradeshow-hollister-tickets-51461073456
