Newsletter Now Available Online

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Each month the Greene County Extension office produces a newsletter known as the "Reaching Out Report." The publication provides impact information from University of Missouri Extension programs in Greene County and details on upcoming Extension programs.

This month's issue includes information about upcoming Extension programs, a handy guide to specialists serving Greene County, information about many upcoming events and festivals and an impact report on the first EXCEL Leadership Development class in Ash Grove, Willard and Republic.

The newsletter from Greene County Extension can be accessed on the Greene County MU Extension website or directly at . Printed copies of the newsletter are available at the Greene County Extension office inside the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic Ave., Springfield, Mo.

"Getting this newsletter in the hands of more county residents would help people understand what Extension has to offer and the importance of our program," said David Burton, county program director for Greene County Extension.

Since 1914, Greene County residents have sought help from Extension in areas related to agriculture, gardening, 4-H youth, nutrition, families, business and community development. To learn more about programs go online to or call the Greene County Extension Center at (417) 881-8909.
