Register for Popular "Learn to Sell on eBay" Class by Nov. 5

Nellie Lamers, a University of Missouri Extension specialist, will be the instructor for a very popular two-day hands-on training program entitled, "Learn to Sell on eBay."

The two-day class will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Tri-Lakes Telecommunication Community Resource Center (TCRC), which is located on Hwy. 413 in the southwest corner of Reeds Spring High School, Reeds Spring, Mo.

Class size is limited to 15 and registration can be made by calling (417) 272-8707 (with a discount for registrations before Nov. 5).

This class offers the opportunity to have a professional teach class attendees the right way to sell on eBay. Lamers has been trained by eBay and will be using the most up-to-date training and student materials.

Participants will learn to do research, create listings that will attract buyers, and enhance listings with better descriptions and photography. Lamers will also teach how to set prices that will maximize profits, how to open and use a PayPal account to simplify getting paid, and how to monitor sales to know exactly what is working and what is not.

"This class will help you avoid many of the costly mistakes that new eBay sellers often make," said Lamers.

The Tri-Lakes TCRC is open to the public and gives Missourians access to college classes for credit and continuing education, video-conferencing for individuals, businesses and organizations, computer classes, satellite downlinks, multimedia computer software, meeting facilities and Internet access.

For more information on other classes being offered visit the TCRC's online resources at http://telecenter.missouri.edu/reedsspring.
