Topic of Workshop in Lamar on March 20
STOCKTON, Mo. - The Barton County MU Extension Council will host a workshop discussing beef cattle reproduction management starting at 6:30 p.m., March 20 at the Barton County MU Extension Center, 801 East 12th Street, Lamar.
Speakers at the workshop will be Patrick Davis, MU Extension Regional livestock specialist, and Andy McCorkill, MU Extension Regional livestock specialist.
Topics covered will include "Beef cattle artificial insemination, estrous sychronization and reproductive management;" "Selection of a calving season," and "Replacement heifer and bull development."
Cost of the workshop is $15 per person and registration along with payment for the workshop is due to the Barton County MU Extension Center by March 17.
