Taylor is a member of the Greenfield FFA Chapter. His advisors are Sarah Abbott and Todd Mason. Taylor ’s FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience Program consists of raising beef cattle and working on his family’s beef farm. He has served as chapter secretary, chapter vice president and treasurer of the Area 9 FFA Association. Taylor also is a blogger for the National FFA Organization’s social networking pages and worked in the newsroom at the 2008 National FFA Convention. Taylor was the Greenfield FFA Chapter creed speaker and competed on the State FFA Knowledge, Prepared Public Speaking and Floriculture Career Development Events. Taylor has been in the Missouri FFA Chorus and the 2008 National FFA Chorus. Taylor was his chapter’s Star Greenhand. He has received his greenhand, chapter and area degrees. Taylor has received proficiency awards for beef production at the chapter level. Taylor was accepted to the United States Senate Youth Program as one of only two delegates from the state of Missouri . He also is a graduate of the Missouri Scholars Academy . This past year, Taylor served on the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) leadership team as the national director of Internet activities. He is the Greenfield High School Student Council president, Greenfield National Honor Society secretary-treasurer, a member of the Dade County Community Theater’s board of directors and a mayor-appointed member of the Greenfield Planning and Improvement Committee. He has attended various leadership conferences at the state and local levels. Taylor plans to attend Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., to receive his master’s degree in business administration. He also plans to obtain a law degree. The Missouri FFA has 24,410 members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
