In addition to FFA, Hilgedick plays high school baseball and is a mentor for a sixth grade agriculture class. Hilgedick also is a certified team leader for Agriculture Education on the Move.
After graduating high school, Hilgedick plans to pursue a heavy-equipment operation certification at State Technical College of Missouri, Linn. After college, Hilgedick plans to further his SAE by working with family members to increase their row crop, hay and cattle production.
