Northeast Vernon Co. FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team Places Sixth in State Contest COLUMBIA , Mo., April 17, 2009 – The Northeast Vernon Co. FFA Chapter placed sixth in the Missouri FFA Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event at the 81st Missouri FFA Convention. The team members were Chairmen Chase Thompson, Nolan Rapp, Tucker Unruh, Hoshua Bachand, Courtney Greer, Abby Harrison and alternate Keley Davis. The Northeast Vernon Co. FFA advisor is Chris Dryer. The Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event, sponsored by Grand River Technical School, consists of both a written test and a team demonstration that tests the team’s knowledge of parliamentary law based on Robert’s Rules of Order. The Missouri FFA has 24,410 members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
