Elizabeth Coffelt of the Branson FFA Chapter Named State FFA Vice President

COLUMBIA , Mo., April 16, 2009 – Elizabeth Coffelt, of Branson, Mo., has been selected the 2009-2010 Area 12 State FFA Vice President. She is a member of the Branson FFA Chapter.

 

Coffelt’s FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience Program consists of diversified livestock, specialty animals and placement.

 

Coffelt has served as vice president and president of the Branson FFA Chapter and as the first vice president of the Area 12 FFA Association.

 

Coffelt participated in the FFA Knowledge, Floriculture, and Entomology Career Development Events.

 

Coffelt has won an area proficiency award in Specialty Animal Production. She won the Star Greenhand award. She is also a member of the Branson High School chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and National Honor Society.

 

Coffelt plans to attend Ozark Technical Community College for general studies and then will transfer to a degree program.

 

The Missouri FFA has 24,410 members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
