Thacker is a member of the Northwest Technical School FFA Chapter. Thacker’s advisors are Jackie Lacy and Jeremy Lacy. Thacker’s FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience Program consists of a commercial beef operation and a registered Hampshire and Yorkshire show pig operation. Thacker has competed at the state level in Meats Evaluation, Farm Management and the FFA Knowledge Career Development Events. She placed fifth in livestock judging in the 2009 Missouri Department of Agriculture Livestock Grading and Judging Contest. She also participated in the 2007 Missouri Agribusiness Academy, Washington Leadership Conference and the Missouri State FFA Leadership Camp, where she received her state leadership medal. Thacker has attended and placed at Missouri FFA Public Speaking Academy. She placed third in the Area 1 Diversified Livestock Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency. Thacker served as her chapter president, secretary and reporter. Thacker plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and study agricultural education. The Missouri FFA has 24,410members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
