Nodaway-Holt FFA Agricultural Mechanics Team Takes Third Place at State
COLUMBIA, Mo., April 17, 2009 – The Nodaway-Holt FFA Chapter placed third in the FFA Agricultural Mechanics Career Development Event at the 81st Missouri FFA Convention. There were 60 teams in the competition.
The winning team members are Marc Rosenbohm, Brent Ginther and Michael Brown. Rosenbohm ranked first overall and Ginther ranked 25th in individual competition. They received Group I ratings. Brown received a Group II rating. The Nodaway-Holt FFA advisor is Steve Schniedermeyer.
Individuals in this contest use problem-solving skills learned in the classroom to complete their activity.
Sponsored by University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, this contest is one way the FFA prepares student members for career success. Career development events engage student learning and make a real connection to lifetime goals.
