Meadville FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team Places Third in State Contest
COLUMBIA , Mo., April 17, 2009 – The Meadville FFA Chapter placed third in the Missouri FFA Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event at the 81st Missouri FFA Convention.
The winning team members are Chairmen Kendra Holcer, Fallon Howe, Steffin Fink, Julia Jacobs, Rachell Correll, Taura Long, and alternate Dilon Howe. The Meadville FFA advisors are Jeff Haley and Neal Wolf.
The Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event, sponsored by Grand River Technical School, consists of both a written test and a team demonstration that tests the team’s knowledge of parliamentary law based on Robert’s Rules of Order.
The Missouri FFA has 24,410 members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
