His sophomore through senior years he worked for Grassland Consultant Dairy, a grassland dairy modeled after New Zealand dairy farms. His responsibilities include pasture and forage management, breeding and calving management, herd nutrition, and milking. The Grassland Consultant Dairy recently changed their name to Roaming Pastures Dairy to emphasize their high-quality, grass-based dairy products. Rinehart has worked over 3,400 hours for his dairy production placement SAE.

Rinehart was a top-three individual in the state meats evaluation and dairy cattle evaluation career development events. He also received a Group I rating in the state farm management CDE. As a member of the Miller FFA Chapter, Rinehart was instrumental in the Food for America program.

In addition to the FFA, Rinehart is a member of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America; and Peer Assistance & Leadership. He was a member of Miller High School Football Team and lettered all 4 years.

After graduating high school, Rinehartís plans include moving to New Zealand for a two-year internship on a grassland dairy. Rinehart said, when he returns, he hopes to become farm manager for Roaming Pasture Dairy.
