Trista, a senior at Carthage Technical Center, is the daughter of Terry and Teresa Ingle. Her FFA advisors are Brandon Duff, Tom Howard, Chris Cloud and Kaylee Stramel. As an FFA member, Ingle attended the 2006 National FFA Convention. She also attended the Washington Leadership Conference. She was a 2008 national livestock show exhibitor in FFA division and a 2007 reserve champion in the FFA division at the state fair. Ingle’s Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE) is raising Boer Goats. Her brother’s involvement in 4-H got her interested in raising goats at the age of eight. She stated she would like to try artificial insemination or even embryo transfer to help improve the quality of the goats she owns. Ingle said she loves raising goats and the challenges that it provides. Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Specialty Animal Production Entrepreneurship/Placement is one of 47 proficiencies awarded at the state level. The Missouri FFA Association sponsored this award. The Missouri FFA has 24,410 members representing 317 chapters. The national organization has more than 507,000 members representing 7,439 local chapters in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands .
