Parker Staples - Area 1

Parker Staples is a member of the Mound City FFA Chapter. Staplesí supervised agricultural experience includes firewood sales, meat sales, as well as owning and operating a lawn-care service. His firewood sales started by clearing trees for his family farm and nearby landowners. He would later sell the firewood at a truck stop, a convenience store and to individuals. Staples also sold beef from his cattle herd offering different cuts of beef to customers. Staples said he finds out the preferred meat cuts, processes the beef accordingly, then delivers it to the customer. His lawn-care service, started in 2018, provides services in mowing, edging around obstacles and structures, spraying weeds, blowing off sidewalks and driveways, and landscaping. Staples is the son of Chris and Janet Staples of Mound City. His advisor is Connor Dignan.

Anderson Rogers - Area 2

Anderson Rogers is a member of the South Harrison FFA Chapter. Rogersí supervised agricultural experience program involves his tree service and wood products business, Andersonís Wood Products. His project began by cutting, splitting and selling firewood. He purchased a truck-mounted tree spade, which he uses in order to sell and transplant trees. Rogers said he improves customerís property values by adding shading and beauty. He also makes and sells specialty wood products like Missouri-shaped keychains. Rogers is the son of Mike and Shelly Rogers of Bethany. His advisor is Katie Harvey.

Dallas Lewis - Area 4

Dallas Lewis is a member of the Centralia FFA Chapter. Lewisí supervised agricultural experience program includes his own baling operation. In his first SAE year, Lewis baled and sold about 400 small bales of straw using his dad's equipment. This past year Lewis expanded his operation by producing approximately 6,000 straw bales. In addition, Lewis works at Haskell Farms, Centralia, where he is responsible for calculating feed rations for about 4,000 cattle. Lewis is the son of Tim and Lori Lewis of Centralia. His advisors are Lori Lewis, Scott Stone and Kelsay Burns.

Megan Schneider - Area 14

Megan Schneider is a member of the Hermann FFA Chapter. Schneiderís supervised agricultural experience program started with showing pigs. Eventually she started breeding and raising show pigs and feeder pigs. As her business grew, Schneider started selling a variety of pork meat products at local farmer markets and other outlets. Over time, Schneider has expanded her selection to include various beef and poultry products. Schneider is the daughter of Jon and Cheryl Carey of Hermann. Her advisors are Doug Ridder and Tracy Vedder.
