MEDIA ALERT

An official media room will again be available at the Missouri FFA Association Convention. The 2009 convention will be held April 16 - 17 at the Hearnes Center on the MU campus in Columbia. We hope this media room will aid you in effective convention coverage.

Using the e-mail address moffaconv@missouri.edu or JTJCART@aol.com, please let us know of specific requests you have. Radio stations should let us know if they need live feeds, the length of report preferred and when the report should be filed. A convention schedule can be found at http://agebb.missouri.edu/news/moffaconv/. Once convention starts you may check the Web site for releases and photos about convention activities and award winners.

The media room facilities will be located directly behind the stage area. Ask directions at the information desk near the east entrance. Phones, computers and a hospitality table will be available. We will also have FFA Media Corps members to aid in location of FFA members or others you wish to interview.

The convention brings together more than 7,500 youth and guests representing 317 Missouri FFA Chapters.
