Can you afford to not know the make-up of your hogs?
Today's consumers are demanding lean, high-quality Pork. Thus pork producers need reliable performance and genetic information to make educated breeding decisions.

The Missouri Swine Improvement Association provides the swine industry with a valuable genetic evaluation program. Formed in December of 1991, the primary function of the MSIA is an on-farm evaluation program for both commercial and seedstock producers. The program involves collection of growth data and the evaluation of loin-eye area, backfat and percent lean with Real-Time ultrasound. All data collected is integrated into existing breed association performance and STAGES programs.
