Missouri Milker’s Training for Hispanic Employees

The 1st Annual Missouri Milker's Training for Hispanic Employees workshop is planned to be held on August 23 at the University of Missouri Southwest Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Topics that will be covered include training of milkers, milk quality and cleaning of milking equipment. The workshop will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m. The workshop is open to Hispanic dairy employees of all dairies.

The entire training will be conducted in Spanish by Carlos Cabrera from WestfaliaSurge, Inc. Carlos is currently a ProMilk Manager for Latin America with WestfaliaSurge, Inc. Carlos has considerable experience in the dairy industry and possesses masters degrees in animal science from Northwest Missouri State University and in agricultural marketing from University of Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota, Colombia.
