more cows and 2.2% more milk production per cow.
Milk production in the top 23 states was up 3.7% in April
2006 compared to April 2005, based upon 1.5% more cows and
a 2.2% increase in milk production per cow.
In Missouri, milk production was up 2.4% in April 2006 compared
to April 2005, based upon 2.5% fewer cows, and an increase
in milk production per cow of 4.9%. |
