milk production per cow.
Milk production in the top 23 states was up 5.5% in March 2006
compared to March 2005, based upon 1.5% more cows and a 3.9%
increase in milk production per cow.
In Missouri, milk production was up 3.6% in March 2006 compared
to March 2005, based upon 3.4% fewer cows, and an increase in
milk production per cow of 7.1%. |
