Milk production in the top 23 states was up 5.9% in February
2006 compared to February 2005, based upon 1.5% more cows and
a 4.3% increase in milk production per cow.
In Missouri, milk production was up 4.2% in February 2006 compared
to February 2005, based upon 2.7% fewer cows, and an increase
in milk production per cow of 7.3%. |
