Milk production in the top 23 states was up 4.2% in July 2005
compared to July 2004, based upon 0.6% more cows and a 3.6%
increase in milk production per cow.
In Missouri, milk production was down 5.3% in July 2005 compared
to July 2004, based upon 4.1% fewer cows, and a decrease in
milk production per cow of 1.6%. |
