Milk production in the U.S. was estimated to be up 4.4% in November 2005 compared to November 2004, based upon 0.4% more cows and 3.8% more milk production per cow.

Milk production in the top 23 states was up 4.6% in November 2005 compared to November 2004, based upon 0.7% more cows and a 3.9% increase in milk production per cow.

In Missouri, milk production was down 4.1% in November 2005 compared to November 2004, based upon 5.0% fewer cows, and an increase in milk production per cow of 1.2%.
