Gregory Encina Billikopf at the University of California Extension does a lot of very practical work on dairy labor issues. You can find his Agricultural Labor website on the Labor page on the Missouri Dairymen's Resource Guide.
He is conducting a nationwide survey of dairy labor rates for the April 2003 pay period. I would highly encourage Missouri dairymen to click on the website to fill in the quick survey.
