Milk production in the U.S. continued to increase in July, up 2.5% over July 2001 on a 0.7% increase in cow numbers and a 1.8% increase in milk production per cow.
Milk production in Missouri continued to decrease in July, down - 0.6% compared with July 2001 on a drop of 9000 cows, but with production per cow up 6.2% over July 2001.
