Energize Missouri Ag. Cost-Share Program
Missouri Department of Natural Resources Energy Center has a new program that gives cost-share grants for agricultural energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy equipment. They have up to $3 million available to agricultural operations in Missouri.
The grants will fund up to 75 percent of the cost of an energy saving project with a cap of $5,000. Variable frequency/variable speed drives for vacuum pumps, watercooled plate coolers for milk pre-cooling, heat reclaimers for air compressors, scroll air compressors and high-volume, low-speed or HVLS cooling fans improvements are all eligible for this program. Other farm energy improvements are eligible as well. Applications must be received by April 20, 2010. Further information about the program is available in the following publications and webpage.
