Missouri Timber Price Trends July - Sept. 2014 Lumber production in the U.S. jumps 5% October 07, 2014 Source: IHB/RL Lumber production in the United States totaled 18.395 billion board feet (or ~ 43,4 million cubic meters) from January to July 2014. This represents an increase of 5 percent as compared to the same period of last year, Random Lengths reports. Production in the West was up 5.2%, while output in the South gained 4.8%.
