Spend the day with Mark Kennedy from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA) and Professor Fred Martz from the University of Missouri learning the basics of grass-fed systems including:

  • Growth, Management and Quality of Forages
  • Extending the Grazing Season
  • Grazing Management
  • Fencing and Water Sources
  • Grazing System Layout and Design
  • Nutrition on Pasture
  • Pasture Quality for Finishing on Grass

This one-day workshop will be held:
