From the pastoral hills of the North to the Ozark region, Boot heel, and
everywhere in between farms and talented people are at work to produce
beautiful natural fiber and fiber products.
Missouri Choice Natural Fibers is a means to showcase this bounty for
you.
This site is a pilot project, in its developing stages.
Our project's goals are to expand market access and link the 'community'
of people involved with fiber throughout the state. This web site is our
starting point.

Get Connected!
This site is in the developing stages. We are currently seeking
businesses, guilds, and individuals, to feature.
All goods and services must be produced in Missouri, and be derived from
animal or plant fibers. This encompasses raw fleeces, quilts, weavings,
spun yarn, felt goods, milling, workshops, and more!
Businesses can be published for $25.00. This fee will be used for:
- Layout and publishing of your catalog listing, including two pictures
of your choice
- Marketing of the MCNF site to broaden your exposure to potential
customers
- Continuing education programs to help your small business thrive

Missouri Choice Natural Fibers is a partnership between
University of Missouri Outreach and Extension,
the Sustainable Agriculture Extension Program, and fiber artisans throughout the
state.
This is a pilot project to showcase fiber and fiber products from around Missouri,
provide access to continuing education resources, and to serve as a forum for
fiber-related events.
This site was designed by Lori Compas at the
College of Agriculture, Food and Natural
Resources
at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
