Water Filtration

• Size filters to minimize pressure drop

  • place two smaller filters in parallel rather than buy one big filter

• Clean filter when pressure drop across filter is greater than 10-psi

  • install pressure gages before and after the filters

• Fertigation injector before filters

  • let filter trap any undissolved fertilizer
