New Hay Listing Instructions



Note: Fields with an "*" asterisk are required fields to "Submit" a Hay For Sale listing.

*Sellers Name: Enter the name of the person selling the hay being listed.

*City: Enter the name of the city of residence of the seller.

E-mail: If the hay seller has an e-mail address and would like to use e-mail as a means of communication regarding this hay listing, enter the e-mail address.

*Phone: Enter a telephone number at which that the seller can be contacted. If the seller does not have a telephone number, please enter the telephone number of someone that will serve as a contact for the seller.

*County: Choose from the option box the Missouri county of residence of the seller or, if outside the State of Missouri choose your state from the end of the option list. The option list is in alphabetical order by Missouri counties and then by states.

*Hay Type: Choose from the option box the type of hay for this listing. If the type of hay you are listing is not on the list, choose "Other" from the list and use the "Notes" area on the form to define the hay type.

*Bale Type: Choose from the option box the bale type for this listing. If the bale type of your hay is not on the list, choose "Other" from the list and use the "Notes" area on the form to define the bale type.

*Bale Weight: Enter the approximate average weight of "one bale" of the hay you are listing. Please do not enter tons on this form. If you would like to specify the number of tons of hay included in this listing, please use the notes area to include tons.

*Number of Bales: Enter the number of bales included in this listing.

CP: Enter the Crude Protein of the hay if available.

TDN: Enter the Total Digestible Nutrients of the hay if available.

RFV: Enter the Relative Feed Value of the hay if available.

ADF: Enter the Acid Detergent Fiber of the hay if available.

NDF: Enter the Neutral Detergent Fiber of the hay if available.

Notes: Enter into the provided text box any additional relevant information such as "first cutting," "don't call before 6 p.m., or "delivery available within 30 miles of my farm". You may also use this area to define a hay type and/or bale type that was not an option choice from the respective option boxes.

*Login and *Password: Enter an up to 10 character name, word, or character string into both the login and password entry boxes. These will become your individual login and password and should be used for all listings you create. If at a later date you need to modify or delete any of your listings, you will need your login and password. Without your login and/or password you will not be allowed access to your listings. Since your login and password are your assurance that your listings will not be modified or deleted by anyone else, you should try to choose your login and password carefully. Your login and password may be up to 10 characters long each and contain any combination of characters (alpha and/or numeric, punctuation). An example of a good login and/or password might be r2!up?. This would be pretty hard to guess and very unlikely to be accidently duplicated by another user. Don't forget to write down your login and password.
