Golden Age Farming is a program targeting farm families 55+ years of age, but all are welcome.  The class is based upon 12 hours of teaching in a multiple session format.

The four target areas are:

  • Estate Planning
  • Retirement Issues
  • Succession Planning
  • To Be Continued….Adapting for the proud, the few, the stubborn farmer

The classes will be taught by a team of instructors. A variety of presentation methods will be used including PowerPoint, worksheets, presentations, video, group discussion, demonstrations and much more. All classes will be taught via interactive tv with instructors using various locations.

Participants will receive a 3-ring binder of information and resources. You will also be made aware of many other resources available to assist you on your farm.

You should come eager to learn. The information presented is serious, but be prepared to hear some humorous stories.
