Experienced dairy family looking for herdmanager position with homestyle comforts. Father has 20 yrs dairy experience as well as operating machinery, management of staff, palpations,cow/calf treatments, willing to learn A-I, very patient and thorough with his wrk and loves dairying. We managed a 250 cow dairy for 8 yrs. making all desicions and seeing our employer a few times per year. He has learned from experience and mother nature. He has very creditable references, teen age boys have dairy experience as well as still learning from dad. Mom has some experience in calf rearing, and milking and records. Preferred starting date is May 1, 2010. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or greater in agronomy and experience in feed mill management. This position is half-time teaching and half-time feed mill manager. This position requires a commitment to excellence in teaching and feed mill management, and serving as a mentor and positive Christian role model to our students.
