Mastitis classification:

Score 1:  Mastitis only (flakes)

Score 2:  Mastitis with swelling of quarter and/or cow is sick (temperature greater than 103 degrees)

Mastitis therapy:

Therapy for Score 1:

1) Use a mastitis tube

2) Repeat in 24 hours

Therapy for Score 2:

1) IV calcium

2) ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

3) MILK LETDOWN DRUG

4) ANTIBIOTICS

5) Repeat steps 3-4 for two days
