These series of reports are to demonstrate the progress of an internship between an American college graduate and a New Zealand dairy farmer. David Noellsch is a young man who graduated from the University of Missouri in the spring 2007. Ben Smith, from New Zealand, was wanting to hire a U.S. graduate with the idea to take him to New Zealand for two years of training. After the two year period, David would return to Missouri and manage a dairy farm for Ben. We asked David to send us regular updates on “the perspectives of an American in New Zealand” showing what he is learning and the opportunities he sees for the dairy industry in Missouri.
