** Indicates the variety with the highest yield or test weight in the
respective column.
* Indicates varieties that do not differ significantly in yield or test
weight from the best variety based on Fisher’s protected LSD (P=0.05).
† Yields are based on a 60 pound standard bushel weight, adjusted to
13.0 percent moisture content of the grain.
‡ Lodging rated on a 0 to 9 scale where 0 = no lodging and 9 = plants
in the plot are completely flat.
§ Fusarium head blight (FHB; scab) rated as percentage of the florets
in the plots showing visible symptoms of disease. Data were taken
at approximately 21 days post flowering of the average flowering
date for the location. Symptoms progressed following this rating and
resulted in more losses in some varieties than indicated by these data.
¶ Means were not significantly different at P=0.05.
