Alan Washburn owns a $1,300 infrared night vision scope and claims it is well worth it. He claims that it is relatively easy to control. The scope is durable and can see up to 150 yards in total darkness. The scope is battery powered and has video capabilities.

Jim Connelly is a Kansas City Police Officer that believes in the use of technology in the police force. He justifies sending in a $40,000 robot on raids and other dangerous situations because it might save a policeman from being injured or even death. The police force uses drones to take pictures and find locations of possible dangerous people.
