Tom Taylor intoduces the OPI Blue Example. It controls grain moisture content based on what kind of grain is being stored. This system will show moisture levels at any time. The OPI uses sensors and will control the fans based on the Weather Channel. The OPI system can stand alone by itself and offers it's own WiFi. Tom says when he pulls into the driveway, his iPad and other devices automatically connect. With the OPI Blue system, a farmer does not have to check his grain grain everyday. OPI Blue will send text messages and emails with updates on the grain. Tom gave an example that if a farmer's grain is too hot, a notice would be sent saying that the fans turned on. A farmer is able to check his grain from anywhere. Tom mentioned that one downfall of the OPI Blue system is that it is complicated to set up.
