Kent Shannon shared with us new information involving precision ag. Using precisionag.com as a reference he informed us about how they are now getting rid of wires, changes in the consoles, and the new GPS satellite set for launch. He also explained how satellite GPS signaling enables a tractor to drive itself. Shannon went on to describe how AgGateway is bringing the industry together, and how many companies are creating more agriculture apps for mobile devices. In conclusion, his speech informed us about new advances in the precision ag field, and the many interesting facts about how it works.
