Dan Barker of TNT Consulting Group, presented a PowerPoint presentation (linked below) about current issues of internet security. There was much discussion about how to protect oneself from spyware, email spam, viruses, online shopping fraud, and personal profiling. Barker mentioned that twice as much spam email was sent in 2002 compared to 2001.
