Becky Newell of Pittsburg, Kansas held a session Monday afternoon demonstrating how she uses Farm Works to integrate crop farming practices with enterprise analysis. Farm Works has many add-in components to help fit each producer's individual operation. Newell showed the Farm Site and Farm Funds components. She also demonstrated how the software tracks costs, asset depreciation, cash rent, sharecropping, and labor expenses to help determine a per acre cost of production.
