Farm Management Specailist, Jim Thompson, of Laclede County presented Farm Books 10 version 1.0, a DOS based accounting program that he uses with producers in South Central Missouri. Farm Books 10 is shareware and simple to use, Jim explained, but it is simply cash-in and cash-out accounting. Participants in the session were given the opportunity to receive a free copy of the program if they wanted.
