For this discussion, several examples of software for managing crop practices were introduced. This session was divided into two sections and included speakers Dr. Ray Massey and Dr. Bill Johnson began the discussion by talking about WeedSOFT, a decision support system for managing crops, weeds, and herbicides. Dr. Johnson talked about each of the different modules of WeedSOFT, with his main focus on Advisor. Advisor is one module of WeedSOFT used for computing crop and crop dollar loss.
